34 weeks and My Sunday Best

2 17 6

I am 34 weeks and my due date is next month! When you're pregnant you definitely have to do what you can to make that glass seem half full, and saying "next month" sounds so so so much better than "I still have six weeks to go." It's March people! And March (despite the blizzard we had today) means spring. And spring means baby boy! This entire pregnancy I've been holding out for the season of rebirth--waiting for the sun to show it's face, the flowers to bloom, and new life to burst into the dreary world that has been this winter--and it's almost here! Oh happy day, I cannot wait for April 15th (or sometime around that day) to finish this pregnancy chapter and meet the baby boy who has already stolen my heart.

This pregnancy outfit is made up of entirely non-maternity clothes (besides the tights). I'm not against buying maternity clothing--a good pair of maternity jeans is a must in my opinion--but it is really nice when you can find something that will work both before and after baby is born. It's hard to spend too much money on clothing you know you'll only wear for such a short amount of time! My floral dress (that is more of a shirt on me right now) is from Forever 21. It's one of their basic, stretchy, dresses that I snagged for $12. My black pencil skirt also came from Forever 21, and it's a super stretch one that only cost me $9. It's supposed to be "calf-length" but obviously when I pull it over my belly it shortens a bit. I highly recommend buying one or more stretchy pencil skirts for pregnancy--they're easy to dress up and I love knowing that I can wear it later too! My black blazer is something I've had for quite awhile--a staple piece of my closet (there's a similar one you can purchase here)--and my bag is from a quaint little vintage boutique in Salt Lake City called Maeberry Vintage. Overall this outfit was inexpensive, and an extremely comfortable option for church-going attire.

What tricks do you have for saving money and dressing during pregnancy? I'm all ears. I need some inspiration for these last few weeks!

  3. In any case, on December seventeenth, 1987 it turned into a need. It was a supernatural occurrence I survived the mischance. I burned through nine months on props, and experienced nine surgeries and two knee recreations. payday loan san diego
