Valentine's Day Gift Idea | Free Printables!

In previous years I've struggled to come up with an idea of what to give my husband as a Valentine's gift. I want something that's thoughtful, affordable, and it would be nice if...you know... he actually liked it. I know that the holiday is highly commercialized and geared toward men buying women stuff they don't really need so that the stores can make more money... but what can I say? We're sappy romantics and love any excuse to spoil each other.
This year I decided to listen to the wisdom of the old saying that says "the way to a man's heart is through his stomach." I gathered up some of Sam's favorite treats, arranged them in a basket, and threw some cheesy yet clever (at least I think so) little labels on them. I feel like this option is way better than the antacid-tasting hearts candies, but just as sentimental. I wanted to make these labels available to anyone who wants to print them off, so I guess Sam will be getting his present a little early. Something tells me he won't care too much.

I've seen some of these done before, and I came up with a few of my own to satisfy my husband's particular likes (Mt. Dew and chocolate for instance, because no present for him felt complete without these two things). I also saw the Naked juice while perusing at the grocery store and couldn't resist. I was chuckling to myself all the way to the car. In fact, I'm still kind of laughing about it now. I guess I think I'm funny or something.

What gifts have you gotten/are you getting the man in your life for Valentine's? I'm open to suggestion because I'm thinking I'll  have to actually do something on the day of too.

Save the images below to your computer, print and enjoy!

  2. Thank you! And I agree, I would definitely take the donuts too. It's moments like these that I'm (semi) grateful to be gluten intolerant, because the temptation is removed. Because otherwise, let's be honest... they would be breakfast tomorrow. All of them :)
